Our Product Operations team is seeking a new Product Executive. You will respond to questions from the Travel Sales team about our touring products and serve as the communication link to our overseas agents regarding travel, accommodation, or excursions questions.
This role is ideal for someone with experience as a tour operator or in offering bespoke worldwide tours. Join a well-established team where no two days are the same!
*Hybrid working: your hub will be either Crawley or Folkestone, depending on your location. You must be within commuting distance to one of these hubs.
Role Responsibilities
The Product Executive will be responsible for:
* Being the main contact for daily queries and becoming a ‘knowledge champion’ for our products and destinations.
* Ensuring all touring products are prepared and ready for clients.
* Building strong relationships with suppliers for optimal service and support.
* Participating in contracting, negotiating rates, and advising the Product Manager.
* Monitoring and resolving operational issues collaboratively.
* Communicating with colleagues across departments about updates and changes.
* Responding to quality issues, liaising with suppliers and customer service teams.
* Collaborating with Product Managers on new tours and ideas.
* Representing the company at trade shows and events, including overseas trips.
* Motivating and supporting the Product team.
The Ideal Candidate
We seek someone with:
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience in a similar role with a tour operator offering bespoke tours.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Problem-solving abilities and commercial awareness.
* A customer-focused approach and understanding of customer expectations.
* A commitment to quality and the customer journey.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
* Enthusiasm, motivation, flexibility, and ambition for growth.
Desirable skills include prior use of Tigerbay and experience negotiating with suppliers.
