Overview
Consultant Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon with a special interest in Revision Knee Arthroplasty is sought for a full‑time substantive post at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, part of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Candidates are encouraged to visit the department and hospital and meet the team.
Responsibilities
* Provide full consultant in‑patient, outpatient and pre‑assessment care based at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.
* Work closely with the existing Hip and Knee Consultants and support the Knee Lead for the Major Revision Knee Network for Thames Valley.
* Assist the Bone Infection Unit in multidisciplinary management of prosthetic joint infections around the knee joint.
* Participate in the on‑call rota (1 in 8) and be available for work at other OUH Trust sites as required.
* Attend joint replacement infection MDT meetings and contribute to the Bone Infection Unit clinic.
* Attend the regional revision knee meeting.
* Commit to audit, teaching and a clinical improvement role for the TOR directorate during SPA time.
Qualifications and Interests
* Substantive Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with special interest in knee arthroplasty, revision knee arthroplasty, and management of prosthetic joint infections.
* Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and on‑call rotations.
