Studio Operations Manager or Creative Resources Manager - Creative Experiential Agency
📍 London (Hybrid)
MUST HAVE AGENCY EXPERIENCE OR CREATIVE STUDIO EXPERIENCE
We are hiring for a Top 'global great' and creative agency that brings together Creative, Strategy and Production to deliver pioneering work for ambitious clients. At the heart of everything we do is Operations — the team that keeps projects moving, people aligned, and the studio running smoothly.
We’re now looking for a Studio & Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping how the agency runs day to day, with a particular focus on the creative studio. You’ll create the conditions for designers and creatives to do their best work, balancing structure with flexibility in a fast-paced, ideas-led environment.
The role
In this hands-on position, you’ll oversee the flow of work through the studio, ensuring briefs, timelines and deliverables are clear, realistic and well managed. You’ll bring clarity and momentum to projects while knowing when to flex processes to support creativity.
A key part of your role will be agency resourcing — developing a strong understanding of team skillsets and workloads to ensure the right people are on the right projects at the right time. You’ll also oversee freelance booking, contracting and wider resourcing support where needed.
You’ll help develop and strengthen the Operations function by managing and mentoring an Operations Executive, supporting best practice, and helping to establish clear, confident ways of working across the team.
Beyond the studio, you’ll ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, maintain accurate documentation, and help embed strong alignment with agency values and operational standards.
You’ll also strengthen the agency’s operational backbone through systems, reporting and commercial oversight. Owning resource management tools, you’ll ensure data is accurate and useful, providing visibility across capacity, timelines and delivery. Working closely with senior leadership and department heads, you’ll support budgeting, monitor spend, and contribute to operational strategy that enables both creative excellence and commercial success.
What we’re looking for
* At least 2 years’ experience in a Studio Manager, Operations Manager or Assistant role within a creative or design environment
* Experience working in a creative agency or studio, with an understanding of how creative teams operate
* Strong grasp of creative workflows, resourcing challenges and studio dynamics
* Experience in resourcing, recruitment operations and compliance processes
* Confident people manager, comfortable supporting and developing a small team
* Highly organised, methodical, and detail-focused with a drive to improve ways of working
* Strong communicator, able to collaborate effectively with creatives, designers and senior stakeholders
* Analytical and commercially minded, with the ability to interpret data to inform decisions
* Proficient in resource management tools (e.g. Paprika), Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
* Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with shifting priorities
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity and operations, and who enjoys bringing structure, clarity and momentum to a dynamic studio environment.
