Their Learning & Development team delivers training programmes that enhance skills, promote professional growth, and support both employees and clients across the business. Role Overview The Learning & Development Specialist will design, deliver, and evaluate training programmes to meet the needs of the organisation and external clients. The role involves conducting training needs analyses, developing engaging learning materials, supporting apprenticeships, and ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of a skilled, safe, and competent workforce within a fast-paced aviation environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct Training Needs Analyses and develop individual learning plans Design, deliver, and evaluate training programmes and learning materials Maintain training resources and documentation for reference and compliance Assess learners and maintain accurate training records in line with regulatory requirements Support apprenticeships, staff development, and continuous professional development (CPD) Ensure training meets industry, regulatory, and safety standards Collaborate with internal teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders Contribute to internal quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives Identify opportunities for cost-effective training and potential revenue streams Essential Requirements Level 3 Award in Education & Training (CTLLS) or equivalent Level 5 CMI/ILM Leadership & Management, or willingness to obtain Level 3 TAQA or equivalent; Level 4 IQA desirable Minimum two years experience in L&D or training delivery, ideally in aviation Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills Excellent organisational and time management abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital learning tools Flexible, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage learners at all levels Working Environment Based at Stansted or Prestwick facilities Occasional UK or international travel may be required Professional business environment within a regulated aviation setting Additional Information Right to work in the UK Willingness to travel
