Our team is looking for a Mid-Level Frontend Engineer to join the group developing Adobe's Administration Platform — a collaborative and multi-skilled engineering team located in Edinburgh, crafting scalable, high-impact systems that serve millions globally. Our engineers are at the forefront of integrating AI into the software development process — from intelligent code assistance to testing and automation. What You Will Do
* Compose, build and maintain reliable, scalable UI components and front-end applications
* Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end features
* Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback
* Contribute to architectural discussions and help build technical direction
* Write clean, well-tested, well-documented code
* Help identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and reliability issues
* Build tooling and automation to reduce operational burdens
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to an encouraging team culture
What You Need To Succeed
* 2–6 years of professional frontend engineering experience
* Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
* Experience building and maintaining modern web applications using technologies such as Web Components, React, or Angular
* Familiarity with web standards, front-end performance and web browser internals (reflow, repaint, shadow DOM, CSS/SCSS, etc.)
* Understanding of front-end architecture patterns (MVC/Flux/Redux) and component-driven design
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and methodologies, including tools such as Argo CD
* Experience working with monitoring platforms like New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana
* A collaborative approach and clear written and verbal communication skills
* Curiosity, a growth mindset, and a dedication to continuous learning
