Level 3 Early Years Practitioner or Early Years Room Leader - William Harding School

Location: Aylesbury

Salary: Bucks Pay Range 1b (6-10) £24,836 to £25,823 pro rata. Actual starting salary £18,046, Plus an additional honorarium payment of £2,000 per annum for the role of Room Leader.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-time, 38 weeks per year (term time only) 32.5 hours per week

* Wellbeing focus and opportunities in training and staff meetings
* Wellbeing focus as part of staff appraisals
* Wellbeing afternoons each term
* A team of Mental Health First Aiders to support and signpost staff members as needed

About you

Successful applicants must:

* Be passionate about EYFS, with a clear vision and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
* Be full of positive drive, energy and initiative
* Contribute to stimulating, interactive, child-centered indoor and outdoor environments that enrich and enhance provision and enable independence
* Use observations and any other relevant information to identify any children in the setting who are underachieving and ensure this is shared with practice leaders
* Communicate effectively with pupils, staff, parents, governors and wider community
* Be a positive role model for all pupils
* Have a relevant Level 3 qualification
