Vehicle Technician required in Crynant.
1. Starting salary up to £30-36,000 per annum however this is negotiable pending experience.
2. 8:00am-5:30pm Monday to Friday only with two 15-minute paid breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Our client is opening a new site in Crynant and is looking to hire a new Vehicle Technician, and an MOT Tester to join their business.
Reporting to the Business Owner and working as part of a friendly workshop team, as a Vehicle Technician your main duties will include carrying out fault diagnosis, maintenance and repairs on customer's vehicles as instructed to the standards laid down by our client. You will need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Business Owner as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance. As a Vehicle Technician, you will need to ensure that Health & Safety, as well as work quality procedures relating to the task at hand, are adhered to at all times. Tasks will include timing chains/belts, basic diagnostic work and clutches.
An IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be highly advantageous however our client is willing to consider candidates with no formal qualifications provided they have extensive "time served" practical experience as a Vehicle Technician. You will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, be a committed individual and be a good team player. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. Applicants with a valid class 4 and 7 MOT testing license or experience with JLR or German-branded vehicles would be highly advantageous however this is non-essential.
