Job role / duties
•Ensure safe working practices are used at all times
•Provide engineering breakdown support for the shift production teams ensuring operational downtime is kept to a minimum
•Use root cause analysis tools to support one-time fix solutions for repeat failures
•Identify cost saving opportunities through energy, maintenance & material streams
•Ensure maintenance paperwork is kept up to date for all site works
•Support in developing preventative maintenance programs and improvements to support asset reliability
•Reactive maintenance/breakdown on both electrical & mechanical machinery
•Fault finding on Mitsubishi PLCs
•Some working at height (up to 15 metres
•Some fabrication/welding
•Support preventative maintenance initiatives
To be considered you MUST
•Have experience of maintenance engineering within an environment of high-speed production equipment
•Hold a formal engineering qualification at level 3 or above in either an electrical or mechanical discipline
•Be a current or previous licence holder for MEWP/ FLT
•Ideally possess PLC experience in fault diagnosis/programming.
•Have a broad spectrum of maintenance ability
