We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist / Administrator to join the team in Northampton, providing administrative support to the Office Manager and the wider business. The role includes processing expenses, filing, recording team annual leave and sickness, as well as reception duties such as entrance access control and meeting and greeting visitors.
Responsibilities include:
1. Providing day-to-day administrative support including raising purchase orders, processing expenses, filing, and archiving.
2. Maintaining records and filing systems; typing and entering data into computer systems, including Office applications or specialized software.
3. Administering programmes, projects, and processes specific to the organization unit.
4. Logging and reporting annual leave and sickness.
Reception Duties:
1. Performing entrance and access controls in the depot.
2. Receiving and switching incoming calls.
3. Verifying credentials of persons entering the property and announcing them to the appropriate contact.
4. Ensuring packages leaving the property are authorized.
5. Ordering and replenishing stationery items.
6. Arranging meetings, booking rooms, and catering.
7. Preparing catering for meetings.
8. Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the reception area and meeting rooms.
9. Arranging taxis and courier collections and deliveries.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Proven administrative skills and duties.
* Effective organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and IT skills.
