We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Design & Technology (DT) Technician to join our thriving secondary school. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality DT lessons across a range of specialisms.
Salary: Grade 5, Point 5-6: £19,032 - £19,334 per annum (subject to experience). Contract: Permanent, 32.5 hours a week, 38.4 weeks a year (term time plus 4 inset days).
The Successful Candidate Will:
* Prepare, set up, and maintain tools, machinery, and materials for practical lessons.
* Ensure classrooms, workshops, and equipment are safe, clean, and well-stocked.
* Support teaching staff and students during practical sessions when required.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining records.
* Assist with displays, demonstrations, and project work where appropriate.
