This vacancy is for a two-year fixed-term post for a member of the ULTH Applications Services team.

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, patient-centred System Specialist to join our Application Services team.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will need to develop and maintain excellent working relationships within the Digital Services Department, working closely with the Digital Transformation Department to support the delivery of the Digital Strategy. Regular communication with staff across Lincolnshire NHS organisations and external suppliers will be essential.

Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential):
* Degree or equivalent in a computing-related field
* Evidence of ongoing personal, technical, and management development
Desirable qualifications:
* Membership of a professional organisation, e.g., BCS
* Vocational accreditation, e.g., MCSE
* ITIL qualification
Knowledge, Skills, and Aptitude (Essential):
* Good written communication skills
* Knowledge of NHS clinical systems
* Experience writing and reviewing technical specifications
* Knowledge of SQL Server
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS
Desirable:
* Intersystems Healthshare knowledge
* Knowledge of HL7
* Unix system administration
* Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) experience
Previous Experience (Essential):
* Extensive experience working in an IT support/development department, including at System Manager level
* Experience interfacing computer systems
* Programming and scripting experience
* Experience with Microsoft Infrastructure applications (Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM)
* Teamwork experience
Desirable:
* Training plan development and delivery
* Project management skills
