JOB DUTIES
We are ideally looking for candidates with some experience either in product testing or sales.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Overall and global responsibility for the respective Key Account/s assigned.
2. Drive sales within the UK with vendors relating to Key Accounts
3. Develop specific Global account strategy (incl. forecast, target settings) and action plans.
4. Develop and expand account relationship.
5. Technical support and guidance for assigned accounts utilizing the support network within TUV Rheinland Group
6. Supervision of processes and standard operating procedures regarding the respective account/s.
7. Overall account responsibility in global pricing taking P/L into consideration (direct as well as indirect supplier orders).
8. Record and document Key Account related information (e.g. Key Account’s buyers, distribution countries, revenue, order incoming/sales by month/quarter/year, project status) and report regularly to the NE Head of Retail.
9. Conduct research of Customer‘s satisfaction and look at ways to proactively improve (e.g. client survey).
10. Responsibility for optimization of services and processes taking customer‘s requirements into consideration (incl. cross-selling activities).
11. Ensure documentation and follow up of the implementation of Key Account business processes such as project flow, sample arrangement etc.
12. Internal own personnel development to develop skills and knowledge of the business.
REQUIREMENTS
13. Self-motivated with the ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks while meeting or exceeding deadlines.
14. Strong communication skills; verbal, written and active listening skills, solid technical writing skills.
15. Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and effectively work with external and internal project teams.
16. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
17. Strong business acumen and ability to understand customer requirements and offer additional services from the group portfolio.
18. Ability to travel to client sites including mainland Europe. Valid driver’s licence required.
19. Proficient in MS Office tools
EDUCATION/EPERIENCE
20. Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field or minimum of 2 years directly-related experience.
