Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a Specialist Supplier of Flooring to New Build Homes throughout the Midlands, South West and North in their search for a Sales Representative to visit Builders throughout the region and win business on New Build developments in the South of England. We are seeking someone with a solid background in Flooring with the knowledge and skills to carry out accurate Estimates and to clearly communicate the results of the visits to Head Office where the internal tendering and Estimation team will progress the works in support of your efforts. Our Clients envisage this will be a remote role with a weekly visit to the Office to carry out admin and to chase up tenders and quotations and to build excellent client and internal relationships as you go. Further, the role will in our clients vision, be a client facing Customer Service orientated role too whereby you will build close relationships with both their clients managers on site and also with the companies Project Managers and Fitters on site to ensure everything is running smoothly, reporting any issues as they arise to the companies managers at head office. The Person we are seeking will have the following qualities: You will likely be an experienced New Build Flooring Sales Specialist, Surveyor, Estimator or similar. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be confident working on your own initiative. You will be prepared to travel extensively to sites throughout the appointed region, building great relationships with the key decision makers within our clients target New Build Sector market. You will be well organised and methodical in both your approach to managing your area targets and in your administration and completion of quotations and Tenders in a timely manner, ensuring each is followed up and closed where possible to grow the revenue at a profitable level for your designated region. Housekeeping wise you will be a Driver with a clean (or near clean) licence and be happy to work from home and out on the road in a remote capacity, organising your own call plan and diary on a weekly basis in order to maximise your efficiency covering a large area with multiple projects and potential clients being worked simultaneously. Ideally you will be located centrally in our clients target area in the Oxfordshire / Bedfordshire area (this is not a deal breaker and consideration will be given on location).
