We are urgently seeking a qualified and experiencedPharmacy Technicianto join our client’s team in Chesterfield. This is an ongoing contract with an immediate start, offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated technician to contribute to a busy and supportive pharmacy service.
The successful candidatemust be an Accredited Checking Technician (ACT)and will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for performing final accuracy checks on dispensed medications, supporting the dispensary team, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures. You will also assist in stock management, liaise with clinical staff, and contribute to the smooth running of the pharmacy department.
Qualifications and Experience
* GPhC registration (General Pharmaceutical Council)
* Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification – essential
* Experience working in a hospital or community pharmacy setting
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
