English Teacher – Full-time, maternity cover from January 2026 for 1 year

Duties as English Teacher
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Teach A Level English if required
* Prepare pupils for assessments and examinations
* Monitor and report on pupil progress
* Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
* Collaborate with colleagues to support whole‑school initiatives
* Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and school policies
Ideal English Teacher
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching English at secondary level
* Ability to teach A Level English is an advantage
* Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
* Committed to pupil progress and achievement
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills as an English Teacher
* Able to work effectively as part of a team
