We are seeking a proactive and organised Depot Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team in Derby. This is a full-time, entry-level position with a typical schedule from Monday to Friday, 10:30 am to 6:30 pm, offering a salary of circa £31,000 per annum.
Responsibilities include managing stock, equipment, small machinery, vehicles, and facilities, as well as overseeing regional administration. You will collaborate with support services, site teams, and project management.
Main Duties:
* Fleet Coordination: Ensure the servicing, roadworthiness, and availability of the local fleet in collaboration with the NFE Manager.
* Equipment Management: Manage maintenance and inspection programmes, ensuring compliance and safety.
* Stock Management: Oversee goods in/out, stock rotation, and conduct regular stock checks to reduce wastage.
* Tool & Equipment Management: Issue and maintain tools and machinery, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
* Facilities Management: Oversee building needs, liaise with contractors, and perform minor maintenance tasks.
* Site Deliveries: Undertake deliveries as required.
Qualifications and skills include proven experience in a similar role, knowledge of health and safety procedures, ability to manage small machinery (PAT testing is a plus), strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication. A current driving license, preferably with towing experience, is required.
