Job Summary
The Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
* Handle all front desk activities including:
o Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
o Check members into the system.
o Sign up new members.
o Take prospective members on tours.
* Facilitate updates to members’ accounts as needed.
* Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as necessary.
* Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the club.
Qualifications/Requirements
* Customer service experience preferred.
* Basic computer skills.
* A passion for fitness and health.
* Upbeat and positive attitude!
* Punctuality and reliability are essential.
* Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers, exceeding expectations.
* Strong listening skills, with the ability to empathize and solve problems.
* Diplomatic in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.
* Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands
* Standing and walking continuously during shifts.
* Talking in person or on the phone frequently.
* Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
* Occasionally encountering toxic chemicals during shifts.
