Building Surveyor / Project Manager - Residential Development - London
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
A Residential Development Business is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Projects team and support the delivery of regional residential development schemes.
Working closely with the Deputy Managing Director, the successful candidate will take projects from planning through construction and delivery, playing a key role in enabling growth, investment, and expansion across the business.

- Start: ASAP but can wait for notice period

- Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
Responsibilities
- Providing a professional Project Management service to successfully deliver residential capital works projects
- Managing projects from planning through construction and handover
- Directing and managing project teams from inception to operation
- Chairing meetings with design teams, cost consultants, contractors, and specialist consultants
- Monitoring project progress, producing reports and programmes, and implementing corrective actions where required
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards
- Implementing robust controls for cost, quality, programme, and change management
- Taking full ownership of projects and demonstrating strong leadership
- Managing projects with values up to £10m
- Acting as Client's Representative, Employer's Agent, and Contract Administrator under client appointments
- Providing high-level cost advice and actively managing and interrogating cost information
- Producing and managing project programmes including lead times, dependencies, and constraints
- Leading and managing change control processes throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Surveying, Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong background within the UK residential construction or development sector
- Proven track record of delivering projects up to £10m
- Strong commercial, programme, and risk management skills
- Confident communicator with experience managing multiple stakeholders
