Responsibilities
* Be responsible for the breakdown and repair of manufacturing equipment across both automated and manual production lines.
* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities as directed.
* Ensure all equipment on site is safe and compliant with current Health & Safety legislation.
* Maintain accurate records of breakdowns, maintenance activities, and spare parts usage.
* Reorder stock and update inventory records as needed.
How You Will Do It
* Apply your solid engineering fault‑finding and maintenance background to resolve issues efficiently.
* Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings to diagnose and repair faults.
* Use your good IT skills to log maintenance activities and manage documentation.
* Stay calm and focused under pressure, especially in time‑critical situations.
* Work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively with others.
* Operate across a rotating shift pattern: 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, and 10pm–6am.
Qualifications
* Time‑served maintenance engineer with an electrical bias (17th/18th Edition qualified).
* Experience with control systems and automation.
* Highly self‑motivated and capable of planning their own workload to meet business needs.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of work and safety.
* Ability to thrive in a team environment and communicate effectively.
