Overview
We are looking to appoint a salaried GP to join our practice situated in the heart of Covent Garden.
Responsibilities
* Undertake all duties associated with the role of a General Practitioner required by the GMS contract
* Support and contribute to the development of practice clinical procedures and protocols
* Support and contribute to QOF and local enhanced service targets
* Take on lead responsibilities of any agreed role in clinical management
* Take on lead responsibility of an agreed management role
* Accurate and timely input of patient data on the clinical system
* Carrying out clinical audits as appropriate
* Completion of reports for solicitors, insurance companies and others
* Processing of clinical administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other clinical tasks
* Take an active role in contributing to practice meetings
* Contribute to the development and improvement of the practice
Working pattern and pay
* 4.5 sessions per week comprising 4 clinical sessions and 0.5 session paid admin time; ideally on Wednesday and Friday but negotiable for the right candidate
* Salary £11,000 per session

About Us
We are a forward thinking practice with a growing, diverse inner city patient population. We are a member of the West End & Marylebone PCN and GP Federation Healthcare Central London.
Current team: 1 GP partner, 3 GPs, 1 Practice Nurse, 1 Practice Manager, 1 Reception Manager, 4 Receptionists, 2 GPAs. As part of the PCN, attached specialists and services may include a Clinical Pharmacist, Dietitian, Care Navigator, First Contact Physio, PCN GP, and Health and Wellbeing coach.
Qualifications
* Essential: GMC registered; Qualified General Practitioner; Registered on NHS performer list; Experience using System One
* Desirable: Good understanding of GMS contract requirements; Experience and understanding of QoF and Local Enhanced Services

Disclosure and Barring Service Check: This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and a submission for Disclosure will be made to the DBS to check for any previous criminal convictions.
