A market leading UK-based alternative asset management group is looking for someone to join as Funds Finance Manager for one their listed funds - ideally aimed at someone with at least 4 to 5 years PQE with a background in fund accounting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, contribute to strategic decision-making and take total ownership for all end to end fund financial reporting for a diversified fund investing in renewable assets.

Your role:
As Funds Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of core financial processes and act as a key partner to fund managers and internal teams. Responsibilities include:
* Leading annual and interim financial reporting processes for a listed fund
* Managing and coordinating audits end-to-end
* Overseeing NAV production, controls and valuation inputs
* Acting as the primary contact for fund administrators and key external providers
* Supporting Board and Audit Committee reporting, including monthly and quarterly outputs
* Delivering robust cash forecasting aligned to asset activity
* Managing debt compliance, including covenant reporting and lender engagement
* Providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
* Reviewing valuation models and key assumptions
* Line managing and developing a junior accountant
Your background:
* Qualified accountant - ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent - likely around 4 to 5 years PQE level
* Proven experience in fund level financial reporting for open or closed end funds - any exposure to real assets would be a big advantage
* A background spent working in another fund or fund admin firm - the firm won't consider people making a first move from audit
* Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to simplify complex information
* Detail-oriented, proactive and able to manage competing deadlines
* A collaborative mindset with the confidence to challenge and improve processes
Central London location with hybrid working on offer (3 to 4 days a week in the office).
Salary in the £85-95,000 bracket plus bonus.
