 
        Senior Project Manager – Utility-Scale Solar PV Projects Location: Remote – between Southern Africa project sites and Head Office, Nottinghamshire. Salary: £100,000 per annum Benefits (Company car or allowance, phone, laptop, private healthcare) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role My client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a portfolio of utility-scale solar PV projects across the Southern African region. This is a pivotal leadership position, working remotely between our project sites and our head office in Nottinghamshire, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution across 20 projects of approximately 100 MWp each, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, safely, and in full compliance with Scope 12 requirements for PV installation. You will play a critical role in overseeing subcontractors, suppliers, and installation teams, and ensuring that all elements — including free-issue components such as panels, inverters, wiring, and PV mounting structures — are integrated smoothly into project delivery. Key Responsibilities · Lead the successful delivery of multiple utility-scale solar PV projects (20 × 100 MWp) across Southern Africa. · Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and installation partners to ensure all work is completed to Scope 12 standards and in line with contractual requirements. · Oversee all project stages including planning, procurement, logistics, construction, commissioning, and final handover. · Ensure project delivery meets all safety, quality, schedule, and budgetary targets. · Manage the integration of free-issue materials (panels, inverters, wiring, PV structures) into the overall delivery programme. · Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, risk assessments, and reporting documentation. · Monitor site performance, ensure compliance with HSE policies, and proactively manage project risks. · Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, clients, authorities, and partners. · Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and strategic recommendations to the Managing Director. · Drive continuous improvement and best practices in project execution and contractor performance. About You Essential Requirements: · Proven track record delivering large-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects, ideally utility-scale solar PV. · Demonstrated experience managing multiple contractors, suppliers, and complex project portfolios. · Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. · Deep understanding of Scope 12 installation requirements and project delivery standards. · Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different geographies. · Experience working in Africa or remote regions is highly advantageous. · Willingness to travel internationally and attend project sites as required.
