Associate Planning Director Job in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

Founded 30 years ago, this multi-disciplinary consultancy operates throughout the UK with a team of 70+ across multiple offices, they are now looking to expand their Nottingham office with an Associate Planning Director (Chartered Town Planner). Their services encompass town planning, architecture, master planning, landscape architecture, and heritage consultancy.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Take the lead on projects, working closely with the Directors
2. Development management and plan/policy work
3. Manage planning applications for a variety of scale projects
4. Planning appeal management
5. Local plan representations
6. Site promotion and local plan examination
7. Public inquiry work
8. Assist in mentoring and developing the wider team
9. Manage client relations and expectations, including new business development and expanding on existing relationships.
Required Skills & Experience
10. 8+ years of experience post-qualification (private or public sector)
11. Degree qualified in Town Planning or similar
12. RTPI membership
13. Strong communication skills
14. Full driving licence and car.
