Business Support Lead - Folkestone and Hythe Children’s Social Work Team

Role Responsibility
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Lead within Integrated Children’s Services in the Folkestone and Hythe Children’s Social Work Team based at Cheriton House in Folkestone.
Kent Integrated Children’s Service provides a wide range of support to Kent's children and young people across Early Help, Preventative Services, and Children’s Social Work Services. We collaborate with partner organisations to deliver the best outcomes. Our Business Support teams support frontline teams and practitioners through professional administrative support.
The role involves overseeing the effective operation of our Business Support services, including supervising a team of Business Support Staff. You will ensure processes and systems are current, effective, and accurate, managing your workload and your team’s proactively while responding to urgent requests and deadlines.
The Business Support Service aims to:

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, a calm and organised approach, and strong administrative, minuting, and IT skills. You should be able to manage data effectively and demonstrate a positive, flexible attitude with drive and potential for learning. Comprehensive induction and training will be provided.
