Technical Author CAD Designer The Opportunity: As a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer you will also have some experience of Technical Authoring, to enable you to provide support to engineers and external customers on these unique and fascinating AUTOMOTIVE products. Your role will be to provide through life support between external customers and the internal design, test, production, logistics and technical support teams of this fascinating company. It is essential that the Design & Technical Author has a genuine passion for engineering and preferably a good knowledge of vehicles and automotive systems combined with a creative and flair and good command of the written word. Job Responsibilities: Support to Project Engineers and Design Engineers for influence of design and development of existing and future platforms for ease of support and the successful delivery of multiple projects. Interface with customers to provide equipment support planning and management, and continuous improvement of product supportability through its complete lifecycle.
