We are working with our well-established client who are looking for a trainee welderto join a growing manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and wants to be part of a supportive, well-run operation.
The Role:
As a trainee welder, youll play a key part in the production process, ensuring components are welded accurately, safely, and to specification. You'll be operating the spot welding machine in a busy fabrication department.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday
2pm - 10pm.
Overtime available.
Responsibilities:
* Carrying out spot welding on metal components to required standards
* Reading and working from drawings or job instructions
* Inspecting finished work to ensure quality and accuracy
* Maintaining a clean and safe working area
* Working collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet targets
Requirements:
1. Keen on developing welding and fabrication skills
2. Good understanding of welding techniques
3. Able to work from engineering drawings
4. Ability to work accurately and consistently to deadlines
