Human Resources Advisor (UK & Ireland)

Overview
We are partnered with a global leader in digital security and IoT solutions seeking a capable and proactive HR Advisor to deliver comprehensive HR support across operations in the UK and Ireland. This role plays a key part in ensuring consistent, compliant, and commercially focused people practices across the business.
Working closely with managers and employees, you will provide practical guidance across the full employee lifecycle, helping to foster a positive working environment and drive effective people management. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a varied, fast-moving setting and enjoys building strong working relationships across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted point of contact for managers and employees, providing advice on employee relations, performance management, attendance, conduct, and workplace policies.
* Manage end-to-end recruitment activity, including role scoping, advertising, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
* Ensure HR practices align with current UK and Irish employment legislation, proactively monitoring updates and advising on required changes.
* Support and lead employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, and grievance cases, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
* Guide managers through performance and development processes, promoting best practice and continuous improvement.
* Assist in the rollout and communication of HR policies, procedures, and organisational initiatives.
* Maintain accurate and confidential employee data, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
* Contribute to HR-led projects such as engagement initiatives, wellbeing programmes, diversity and inclusion efforts, and process enhancements.
* Support learning and development activities by identifying training needs and coordinating appropriate solutions.
Experience & Profile
* Demonstrated experience in an HR Advisor or generalist HR role, ideally supporting multiple sites or jurisdictions.
* Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practice within the UK; familiarity with Irish legislation is advantageous.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels.
* Well-organised and adaptable, with the capacity to manage competing priorities effectively.
* Discreet, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven in approach.
* CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent professional experience).
* Comfortable using HR systems and standard business software applications.
