You’ll carry out a range of decorative and protective tasks, ensuring all work meets high standards andplies with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Painting and decorating internal and external surfaces (walls, ceilings, doors, etc.)
2. Surface preparation: sanding, filling, priming
3. Applying protective coatings (, anti-mould, fire-retardant paints)
4. Touch-ups and repairs to damaged or worn finishes
5. Ensuring work is done to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
What you'll need to succeedTypical Qualifications
6. City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Painting & Decorating
7. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Decorative Finishing and Industrial Painting
8. May also havepleted a trade apprenticeship
Skills & Experience
9. Proven experience in painting and decorating within facilities or property maintenance
10. Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
11. Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
12. Goodmunication and customer service skills
13. Awareness of health & safety andpliance standards
