Research Fellow in Catalysis and Reaction Engineering
Full‑time (35 hours per week) position at University of Southampton focused on mechanistic modelling of CO2 conversion and related catalytic processes within the Great British Chemicals Hub.
The Great British Chemicals Hub is a national initiative funded by EPSRC and NERC that brings together 10 leading UK universities and over 30 industrial partners. Our team specialises in reaction engineering and kinetic modelling for catalytic, photocatalytic, and sustainable chemical processes, translating innovations from the laboratory to pilot scale.
Key responsibilities
* Develop mechanistic models to study carbon dioxide conversion pathways and other related processes, collaborating with partner institutions across the consortium.
Qualifications
* PhD in chemical engineering, chemistry or a closely related discipline (or close to completion).
* Equivalent industrial experience considered.
Contract details
One‑year contract, possible extension based on funding and satisfactory performance. Full‑time, 35 hours per week.
