Communications Officer – Police Collaboration Wales
About Police Collaboration Wales (PCW)
* We are a small team who work across projects in police forces in Wales to aid the delivery of collaboration. These projects include areas such as technology, people, sustainability, forensics and more
* We work on a range of exciting projects and programmes across the four Welsh police forces from our offices in the Bridgend area.
* We work 9-5 Monday-Friday, though do sometimes support activity on the weekend and evenings.
About the role and your key responsibilities:

* Developing and delivering communications that increase awareness, drive engagement and highlight the benefits of collaboration.
* Advising on and implementing appropriate communication strategies to engage relevant audiences.
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised individual with a strong background in communications to join our team. You must be proficient in Microsoft applications and ideally have experience with graphic design tools such as Canva.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential as you will work collaboratively with colleagues across the four police forces of Wales and will engage with stakeholders at all levels. You must have excellent writing and editing skills to produce high-quality, accurate and timely communications. We are seeking someone who can drive communications for the department, championing its work and promoting its achievements internally and externally.
Above all, you will bring creativity, attention to detail and a passion for storytelling that helps drive successful collaboration.
The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
