About The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join our expanding team based at our brand new, state of the art factory in Barton-upon-Humber. The candidate will work from Monday to Friday, 7:00-15:30.
Main responsibilities:
1. Manage the smooth running of the Replen department
2. Plan, implement and control a schedule for the departments’ workload, reviewing and adjusting the plan as required
3. Determine the human and material resources required and manage resources to meet targets
4. Make decisions about equipment use, MHE trainings, maintenance, modification and procurement
5. Ensure implementation and adherence to Health and Safety procedures
6. Set and monitor quality standards
7. Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
8. Analyse goods in processes and quality control to detect and correct problems
9. Determine and implement improvements to the replen process
10. Prepare and maintain reports relevant to the department
11. Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement
12. Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution and management
In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System(IMS)Responsibilities document.
About You
Desired skills & knowledge:
13. Proven experience in a managerial role within the warehousing industry
14. Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
15. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate, coach, develop, motivate and build effective relationships within teams
16. Self-motivated with the ability to lead a team
17. Working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
18. Flexibility and organisational skill
19. Computer literate
