A respected, design:focused architectural studio is seeking a skilled Architect to become part of its Cardiff team. With a legacy spanning more than five decades, the practice is known for delivering high:quality, sustainable schemes across the UK and overseas. It has earned a strong reputation for creating commercially effective, user:centred designs. The studio operates across architecture, urban design, and masterplanning, working on projects in mixed:use, retail, leisure, residential, and workplace sectors.
Role and Responsibilities for the Architect position:
* Take a leading and supporting role on projects across various RIBA stages
* Contribute to the development of design concepts through to technical execution
* Prepare and assess detailed drawings, specifications, and construction packages
* Work closely with internal colleagues, consultants, and external partners
* Maintain compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant industry standards
* Participate in and lead meetings, client presentations, and site inspections
Requirements for the Architect:
* Qualified Architect with ARB registration
* Proven experience working within a UK architectural practice
* Strong design flair combined with solid technical knowledge across all stages
* Sound understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction processes
* Proficient in Revit, with Adobe Creative Suite experience considered an advantage
* Strong communication skills with a proactive and well:organised mindset
