Trilitech is a Web3 company that empowers developers and creators to build pioneering solutions on the Tezos blockchain. We work on core blockchain development, decentralized applications, infrastructure tooling, and developer experience.
Role Overview
As Head of Engineering, you will define and drive the technical vision for the Tezos ecosystem’s application layer. You’ll lead a team of around 35 people building end‑user products—including the Uranium.io marketplace, Umami wallet, and other dApps—while ensuring the foundation remains robust, secure, and accessible.
What You’ll Do
 * Define and execute the engineering strategy in line with the Tezos roadmap and broader business objectives.
 * Lead with product focus, working closely with Product, Design, and Commercial leaders to build solutions that solve real user problems.
 * Provide strategic direction and coaching, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and speed.
 * Champion delivery focus and operational excellence while remaining rigorously customer‑centric.
 * Stay on top of emerging technologies and trends in blockchain and crypto, selecting tools to optimise performance and scalability.
 * Establish and enforce data‑driven quality standards and best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and performance monitoring.
 * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise development processes, tools, and methodologies.
 * Own the management of resources, budgets, and timelines effectively.
What You’ll Need
 * Strong technical foundation; Senior/Staff/Principal Engineer with experience solving complex problems.
 * Proven track record of managing engineering teams.
 * Passion for building user‑centric products and a history of delivering quality solutions on time.
 * Experience leading large, complex projects and prioritising effectively.
 * Knowledge of the blockchain space is ideal, but genuine curiosity and passion are equally valued.
 * Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
