Astute's Power Team are currently recruiting for 3x C&I Commissioning Technician positions for their Waste to Energy project in Chester, Cheshire on a contract basis for 8 months. The 3x C&I Commissioning Technician positions come with a day rate from £400.00 to £450.00 outside of IR35. Role responsibilities and key skills for the role: Updating and maintaining maintenance records within the internal systems. Requiring the minimum of supervision, you will be highly self-motivated, having a can-do attitude with an eye for identifying and recommending maintenance improvement opportunities Actively contribute to the safe, efficient and cost-effective running of the Waste to Energy project. Developing knowledge of Control Systems once set up. Required to work at height and work in confined spaces. Able to work with Computers with sound knowledge of the suite of Microsoft Office products Flexible approach to hours of work, particularly during plant outages when weekends, nights and bank holidays will have to be worked Ideally have experience working with Valmet PLC experience. Day-to-day communication with the Lead C&I Commissioning Engineer.
