They are seeking 2 x Multi-skilled Engineers on site in Derby! About the role 2 x proactive Multiskilled Engineers to join a high-performing team in Derby. In this hands-on role, you’ll be instrumental in keeping production lines running smoothly and efficiently ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality and delivery. You’ll tackle technical challenges head-on, drive continuous improvement, and take ownership of planned and reactive maintenance. With a strong focus on safety, compliance, and performance, this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced environment. This is a 12 month fixed term position with the opportunity of extension. Your responsibilities – Deliver high-level technical expertise to maximize equipment productivity – Lead root cause analysis and implement right-first-time solutions – Own and execute maintenance tasks during planned downtime – Ensure accurate logging of all work in SAP and complete work orders proactively – Share learnings and technical support across shifts to drive team performance – Uphold all safety and quality SOPs, policies, and procedures – Support machine changeovers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives – Participate in audits and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards – Minimize waste and optimize line efficiency through effective engineering practices – Take ownership of personal development and training The experience required: – Production line experience in FMCG, food, or pharmaceutical sectors – Trained to a minimum mechanical craft level; ONC/HNC preferred – Strong pneumatic skills and ability to read complex engineering drawings – Experience with Mig/Tig welding, machining, turning, and milling is a plus – Proven ability to work independently and react quickly under pressure – Background in delivering high performance while leading by example – Analytical mindset with a drive for continuous improvement – Familiarity with GMP and KPI-focused environments – Flexible, adaptable, and achievement-oriented approach to work Salary: £50,000 per annum plus SA £6,024 ph
