GSL Education are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive school in Hathersage (S32). This role provides the opportunity to deliver tailored lessons, support individual learning needs, and foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students can thrive. As an SEN Teacher, you will: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons suited to students with additional needs. Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development. Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Track pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching to meet individual needs. Collaborate with colleagues, SENCOs, and parents to ensure holistic support. Maintain high standards of behaviour management, safeguarding, and child welfare. Requirements for SEN Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience teaching students with SEN in school setting. Strong knowledge of strategies to support students with learning differences. Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
