Position: Maintenance Plumber Location: Peterborough, UK Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:00 - 17:00) Responsibilities: Perform plumbing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across three secondary schools in Peterborough. Conduct testing of plumbing installations, including piping and fixtures. Immediately report and address any potentially hazardous situations, escalating to line management as necessary. Manage monthly workload using PDA handheld device and familiar with Maximo or similar asset management software. Ensure timely completion of all associated paperwork. Participate in a rolling callout rota. Skills, Qualifications, and Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Hold a recognized plumbing trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant Plumbing discipline with industry experience. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and colleagues. Valid driving license required. Proficient in MS Word and Excel. Able to obtain enhanced DBS clearance due to working in the vicinity of children. Benefits: Salary Range: £30,000 - £36,000 per annum. Generous holiday allowance.
