Overview
Join the Finance Change function and act as the link between Finance and IT. This role focuses on understanding finance processes and systems, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the design and delivery of system changes. The goal is to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and efficient finance system operations across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the link between Finance and IT, translating business needs into system requirements
* Analyse end-to-end finance processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities
* Gather, document, and manage requirements using user stories, process maps, and functional specifications
* Review existing finance systems and data flows to identify optimisation opportunities
* Collaborate with stakeholders to design system solutions, workflows, and data integrations
* Support implementation activities including system configuration and data migration
* Produce and support UAT documentation, testing cycles, and defect resolution
* Develop and deliver user training and support system adoption
* Create reports and dashboards to monitor system performance and provide insights
Experience Required
* Experience working within a finance change, systems, or transformation environment
* Strong background in finance, accounting, or financial reporting functions
* Hands‑on experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements
* Proven experience analysing finance systems (ERP, reporting, workflow, payments, treasury)
* Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or enhancements
* Experience working with Finance and IT stakeholders across multiple teams
* Exposure to UAT planning, execution, and user support
* Experience producing reports, dashboards, or management information
