Hours: 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 11:45am – 3:45pm)
Working Weeks: Term Time Only – 36 Weeks
Salary: £9,735.68 per annum (£12.21 per hour)

We’re seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our catering team at Withington Girls’ School in Manchester. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a well-established school community while working in a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate the dishwasher and conveyor system to clean dishes, cutlery, pots, and pans
* Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including pot washing and floor cleaning
* Support the catering team with general kitchen duties
* Ensure hygiene and safety standards are upheld at all times
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a similar role or within school catering is preferred but not essential
* A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
* Good time management and attention to detail
* Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment
