We are looking for an experienced and driven Marketing Executive to join our growing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract or secondment basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, hands-on marketer who enjoys variety and wants to play a key role in shaping and delivering impactful campaigns. Working closely with the Business Development Manager, you will support the growth of our medical negligence and serious injury services, helping to build our brand, strengthen professional networks, and raise our profile in the market. This role is ideal for a marketing all-rounder who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident delivering across a mix of campaign planning, digital marketing, content creation, events, and stakeholder engagement. Create and edit engaging content including blogs, client stories, brochures, email newsletters, and social media posts. Manage updates to the MLS website and ensure all content is accurate, accessible, and SEO-optimised. Work with external agencies and designers where needed to develop marketing collateral and creative assets. Drafting and scheduling social content, providing ideas and ensuring campaign activity is reflected across social channels. Ensure all communications are aligned with MLS brand, tone, and values. Support the production of compelling pitch and proposal materials. Events and Though Leadership – Plan and deliver professional events, webinars, and training sessions to raise awareness of MLS expertise. Coordinate the production and logistics of banners, handouts, delegate packs and branded materials. Develop and maintain an events calendar, ensuring any marketing support is in place ahead of time. Track and report on campaign and event performance to inform future strategy. Internal and External Communications – Support internal communications activity – including drafting internal newsletters, announcements and colleague engagement content. Identify PR and media opportunities in collaboration with the wider communications team or external PR support. Draft basic press releases, commentary or thought leadership content to raise the MLS profile in target sectors. Essential Skills and Experience: 3–6 years’ experience in a marketing and/or business development role within professional services or healthcare. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an eye for detail and an understanding of audience needs. Confidence with digital marketing tools and platforms. Familiarity with CRM systems and basic reporting. Experience managing or supporting events and campaigns. Comfortable monitoring and reporting on spend; experience managing marketing budgets and supplier invoices. A working knowledge of legal or medical is desirable but not essential. Commercially aware and curious – eager to understand client journey, what drives referrals and reputation. Team player with strong organisational and interpersonal skills Flexible, adaptable and capable of juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
