Job Title: Catering Assistant

Location: Stepping Hill hospital Poplar Grove Stockport SK2 7JE
Pay Rates: £12.21 per hour + Escalated rates over the weekend.
Shift Patterns: Monday- Sunday (various shift) 7am -7:30pm
About the Trust
We are no ordinary trust. We hold a unique position in the Stockport community as the provider of healthcare and we are one of its largest employers. We are an integrated provider of acute hospital and community services to the people of Stockport, as well serving the populations of East Cheshire and the High Peak in North Derbyshire.
We offer a number of specialist services and play a key partnership role with Greater Manchester, Stockport and East Cheshire. With an annual budget of around £450 million we provide healthcare for residents in Stockport, East Cheshire and North Derbyshire as well as patients we treat from other boroughs in Greater Manchester who choose our services. Job Duties
· As a Catering Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our hospital community. Your responsibilities include:
· Collaborating with the catering team to prepare and serve appealing meals.
· Cleaning food trolleys, crockery, and cutlery to maintain hygiene standards.
· General cleaning duties to ensure a spotless and safe kitchen environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals with:
· Previous experience in a similar role.
· Level 2 Food Safety certification.
· Knowledge of food hygiene standards.
· Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.
