A welcoming and supportive Primary School in Blackburn is seeking a Part-Time SENCo to join their team on a flexible 1 to 2 days per week basis. About the Role: Lead and manage the school's SEND provision in line with statutory requirements Coordinate EHCPs, Annual Reviews, and targeted interventions Provide support, guidance, and training to teaching and support staff Liaise with external agencies and families to ensure the best outcomes for pupils Maintain up-to-date records and ensure full compliance with SEND legislation Requirements: SENCo qualification or substantial experience as a SENCo (Primary or cross-phase) In-depth knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals Experience in using assessment tools, writing support plans, and monitoring progress What We Offer: Flexible working days (1-2 days/week) Supportive leadership and a strong inclusive ethos Opportunity to make a real difference to children's lives How to Apply: This position is being exclusively managed by Veritas Education.
