Role Title: Business Analyst
Location: Glasgow
Duration: 31/12/2025
Rate: £350 per day - PAYE via Umbrella only
Key Accountabilities
* End-to-end requirements management and traceability, both functional and non-functional
* Analysis of Payment data for data model and detailed analysis
* Requirements elicitation and documentation, using User Stories and E2E Diagrams
* Identification & verification of source data origination - together with assessing overlapping & distinct data elements.
* Identify, quantify, plan and control all business design and analysis related activity on change projects.
* Becoming knowledgeable in data sources and expected outputs in specific data domains - e.g. payments
* Supporting the programme & project leads towards achieving the goals of the initiatives.
* Able to performance manage data analysts and direct and lead on department strategy.
* Co-ordinate workloads across multiple data streams.
* Identify and align commercials associated with change in the bank.
* Own and manage requirement related aspects of the change delivery life cycle from inception, solution design through to implementation and post implementation support.
* Work in-line with overall strategy across Technology delivery and Business operations change
* Identify, analyse, manage and monitor relationships with and between stakeholders.
* Manage multiple work streams of project activity.
* Impact analysis, both business and technical, working closely with architects and solution designers
* Coordination of and hands-on assistance with different testing phases including User Acceptance Testing and Live proving
* Work as a liaison among project stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate features for new functionality.
* Serves as the SME for business and functional domain knowledge, working closely with the Product Owner
* Create, groom and maintain the project feature and story backlog in addition to any changes to those requirements.
* Participates in joint design sessions to groom and document features and stories. Create feature and story backlogs that are clear and straightforward.
* Manage end-to-end requirement & requirement delivery quality of high complexity, drawing on analytical skills to ensure the excellent execution across multi-discipline platform teams.
* Support broad conceptual technical solutions, drawing upon expertise within the team and working closely with the Enterprise, Data and Solutions Architects
* Provide expertise and continuity across both the business solution and technical solution.
* Dependency management
* Raise awareness to Programme & Project Managers and analysis leads of dependencies outside of area of responsibility.

* Adapt to changing requirements & priorities and changing course as necessary.

* Adhere to Group Change control and governance standards, recording and reporting data in the right way.
