The Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Director of Connectivity to lead our B2B connectivity business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and market leadership in a rapidly evolving digital infrastructure and telecoms environment.
This role requires a proven track record of P&L ownership, deep understanding of B2B connectivity solutions (fixed, mobile, cloud, IoT, and managed services), and the ability to inspire teams while delivering sustainable financial and customer outcomes.
What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership
* Define and execute the divisional strategy in line with overall group objectives.
* Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and innovations to strengthen our competitive position.
* Lead M&A integration, new product launches, and go-to-market strategies where relevant.
Operational Excellence
* Deliver robust, scalable connectivity solutions while ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.
* Oversee end-to-end service delivery, driving reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
* Lead digital transformation and process optimisation initiatives to build efficiency and scalability.
* Take full P&L ownership: build annual operating plans and quarterly reforecasts; deliver revenue, gross margin, contribution, and EBITDA against budget for Connectivity.
* Define segment strategy, packaging, and pricing/discount governance to enable profitable growth and price realisation.
* Improve unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback, churn, NRR) by working closely with Sales and Marketing to balance acquisition and retention strategies.
People Leadership
* Inspire, develop, and retain high-performing leadership and operational teams.
* Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and innovation.
* Champion diversity, inclusion, and strong employee engagement.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Own and manage monthly Connectivity meetings with the C-Suite.
* Build and maintain senior-level relationships with customers, partners, regulators, and industry bodies.
* Act as the divisional ambassador for the brand, representing the company at industry forums and events.
* Provide clear reporting and strategic insight to the Group Board.
What We're Looking For
We need someone with:
* A proven track record in a senior leadership role within an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment, ideally in the UK B2B telecoms or connectivity sector.
* Strong commercial acumen, with demonstrable success in driving growth and profitability.
* Experience leading multi-site, operationally complex businesses.
* An inspirational leader who can define strategy, set clear direction, and deliver flawless execution.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at Board level while engaging and motivating frontline teams.
