We are looking to develop our engineering team to meet our generation and refurbishment challenges and as a result have opportunities for an Electrical Engineer working across both Dinorwig and Ffestiniog power stations to join an existing team of skilled engineers. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation, integrity, and performance of our electrical assets across both power stations. Responsibilities
* Deliver plant refurbishment, maintenance, and replacement projects within assigned budgets
* Manage resources and contractors to meet business plan objectives and KPIs
* Provide expert advice and develop innovative solutions for electrical plant improvements
* Implement quality, environmental, health, and safety initiatives
* Conduct residual life assessments and advise on risk management for electrical assets
* Investigate and solve plant-level problems to enhance performance
* Assist in developing maintenance and asset management strategies
Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications/experience
* Detailed knowledge of electrical systems in the power industry
* Experience in managing contracts and holding roles such as Technical Officer
* IOSH Managing Safely certification (essential)
* Chartered status (desirable)
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide expert technical guidance
* Excellent project management and communication abilities
