Overview
We are recruiting for a full-time, permanent Multi Skilled Operative to join the Mears Group PLC team in Ilford. This role involves responsive repairs across our housing properties, delivering high standards of customer service and completing repair and refurbishment works on time and to a high standard in line with operating procedures.

* Location: Ilford
* Employment type: Full-time, Permanent
* Salary: up to £37,485 per annum, plus a company van and fuel card
* Hours: 42.5 per week (8:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday)
Responsibilities
* Carry out reactive repairs in occupied and unoccupied properties
* Perform multi-trade activities including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting and decorating, and related refurbishment works
* Take ownership to ensure repairs are completed to a first-time finish within agreed timeframes and budget
* Provide high levels of customer care at all times
Role criteria / Qualifications
* Experience in Carpentry, Plumbing, Plastering, Tiling, Painting & Decorating
* Experience working in social housing
* Good customer service skills
* Good written and verbal communication
All roles require entitlement to work in the UK; Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21, have held your licence for more than 3 months and have fewer than 9 points.
Candidates will be subject to DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
