Fleet Administrator Salary: £25,000 per annum Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Location: Penkridge | Office Based Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm About the Role In this role, you will take ownership of the company’s vehicle fleet and engineer equipment records, ensuring accurate documentation, maintenance scheduling, and compliance with industry standards. You’ll also serve as a key contact for internal teams and external partners, helping to manage day-to-day operations related to vehicles, tools, and supplier services. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update fleet and equipment records, ensuring accuracy across systems. Monitor vehicle servicing, MOTs, insurance, and equipment calibration schedules. Support engineers by coordinating equipment availability and replacements. Process invoices and maintain cost control for vehicle and equipment expenses. Act as the main liaison for vehicle suppliers, workshops, and engineers. Conduct basic vehicle checks and inspections when required. Analyse fleet performance and generate reports for management. Ensure Health & Safety standards are met in line with company procedures. What We’re Looking For A full UK manual driving licence is essential. Previous experience in a fleet or facilities admin role is highly desirable. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload. Able to work independently and use initiative.
