Your role will be a critical leadership position responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of Nexus Infrastructure. You will lead the planned, reactive, and corrective maintenance and inspection regimes for the Departmental Asset Management portfolio, as determined by the Principal Engineer & Head of Rail Infrastructure Maintenance, to meet safety, legislative compliance, and operational performance requirements of Nexus.
You will oversee the asset management portfolio of the Nexus Signalling system and be a key stakeholder in the development of future major projects, including the Metro Re-signalling programme and the Metro to Washington extension. Additionally, you will be involved in relevant Nexus Maintenance Capital Programmes related to Signalling Asset Management schemes.
As a member of the Nexus Infrastructure Team, you will support wider Nexus Service Areas by assisting with third-party, customer claims, and complaints to establish Nexus liability and initiate corrective actions where necessary. You will lead the departmental strategic plan alongside the Principal Engineer to ensure the asset portfolio operates fully, meets safety and legislative standards, and adheres to Nexus Safety and Integrated Management Systems, including risk development and briefing.
