Main duties
* Achieve and maintain certification for fire door repair maintenance tasks
* To deliver H&S compliance at all times to protect themselves, colleagues and others
* To deliver a high standard of work at all times within expected timescales and to expected standards
* The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities management, a trade scheme or served experience.
* To communicate all relevant details to the client, planning team or Team leaders in a timely manner
* Attending stakeholder meetings to discuss the safe system of work to be implemented assisting in the development of the scope of works
* To comprehend and comply with all company policies and procedures
* To carry out any reactive, PPM or project duties when instructed by helpdesk and supervisor.
* Ad Hoc Duties but not exclusive to painting, plastering, and patch repairs
* Identify areas for additional works within and out of the specified contractual requirements and report these promptly to Team leader or line management to discuss possible options
Qualifications
* Time served Joiner.
* Fire Door maintenance & Installation qualification favourable
* Building Services qualifications.
* IOSH Working Safely certificate
* Full clean driving license
* Working in a healthcare environment preferable
This role may require regular entry to high-risk or forensically clean areas of the SARC at Rainbow. As such, and as part of our commitment to supporting Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust to maintain the highest forensic standards and comply with UKAS accreditation requirements, the successful candidate will be required to provide a DNA sample to be held on the Staff Elimination Database for the purposes of eliminating your DNA from any forensic samples that may be taken at the SARC.
