Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Lab Informatics Consultant/Manager located in Wrexham. The role involves providing expert consulting services to assess, design, and implement digital solutions for laboratory operations, including Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS, ELN, CDS, SDMS). Daily responsibilities include collaborating with clients, analyzing laboratory workflows, designing efficient systems, and ensuring the successful integration of informatics technologies to improve laboratory productivity and accuracy.
Responsibilities
* Assist with thought leadership development
* Build and manage stakeholder relationships
* Expand ADIGILEAP client footprint
* Mentor and coach junior team members
* Work closely with client’s business and IT stakeholders to understand their business requirements and contribute to the design and implementation of new technologies to revolutionize scientific and laboratory processes
* Participate in interviews, site visits, laboratory walkthroughs and facilitated sessions with business users
* Analyse requirements to determine priority and business value
* Identify opportunities for business process improvement, including changes required to successfully adopt new laboratory data management solutions
Qualifications
* Degree in a relevant field such as in science, engineering, biochemistry or pharmaceutical
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in the lab informatics domain
* High emotional quotient (EQ) - a person that others enjoy working with others
* Familiarity with lab informatics applications (LIMS, ELN, CDS, SDMS etc)
* Exceptional analytic and critical thinking skills, troubleshooting skills, and ability to work independently or within a team
* Flexibility to travel within the EU and globally, based on client demands
* A passion for continuous learning and development, particularly in technology and data science disciplines
